The Simply Battery hydrometer tester is designed to test the concentration of the battery acid in non-sealed batteries. Over time and after maintenance the battery cells can become very diluted leading to poor transfer for the current and eventual damage of the battery.

MEASUREMENT RANGE - 1.10 - 1.30 g/ml
Red/Recharge: - Ranges from 1.100 - 1.225. or below 12.25 Volts indicating the battery is discharged/flat.White/Fair: - Ranges from 1.225 - 1.260. or 12.05-12.60 Volts indicating that the battery requires attention / Charging
Green/Good: - Ranges from 1.260 - 1.300. or 12.60-13.00 Volts indicating the battery is fully charged and serviceable.
Care must always be taken removing battery cell caps and handling battery Acid when testing a battery.
